I remember when overeating at night was just routine for me and it was one of the hardest things to stop. After a long day at work, I would immediately start planning what I was going to eat when I got home. I was tired, my defenses were down, and I was just looking to food to give me pleasure and joy at the end of the day.
Overeating at night becomes a habit for many of us, and it happens almost unconsciously. Before you know it, you’ve eaten the ice cream, the chips, and the pizza. Or you’ve done it because you’ve told yourself you’ve been good all day and deserve a treat. But loves, food is a false pleasure. It’s time to come up with a different strategy, and I’m sharing a few with you today that I teach my clients.
