I’m going to guess this happened every time you started a new diet because this was definitely my experience. As much as you might think you love food, the reality is that you’re probably not truly tasting it, and this is what dieting has done to us.
Paying attention to the food we eat is the path to getting off the diet roller coaster for good, and this means learning to reconnect with your body. Following someone else’s plan of what’s “healthy” is leaving you disconnected from whether you’re satiated or even enjoying what you’re eating, and slowing down to identify what feels good to you is going to be transformative.
